Ahhh, the all powerful explanation of the ratings systems...
1.) The Sonia Rating - This is a highly subjective and marvellously named rating which marks the film out of ten Sonias and deals very simply with how much I liked the film.
2.) The Art Imitating Life Rating - This is another subjective system (all reviews are, don'tcha know!) to rate the film in terms of how well I think it reflects life.
I have a feeling that some of these ratings might shock and offend, perhaps causing a vast public uprising. For instance, some might scoff at what Kung Fu Panda can teach us about life. However, I would argue that the central character's original struggle against the life that his father would wish for him and the life that he desires for himself strikes a chord with viewers, despite the presence of a panda and a duck. If you find yourself frustrated by any of my comments and become short of breath, find that you are unconciously grinding your teeth, sweating or any of the above please seek medical assistance.
Or perhaps go and have a nice relaxing bath/personality transplant.
